The Process
Liesl is thorough and detail-oriented to ensure each client is thrilled with their custom creations. Key steps in the creative process include:
- Initial consultation: Liesl meets with you to discuss your needs and interests, and then leads you through a creative brainstorming session.
- Design agreement & deposit: Agree on the number of designs to be created and pay initial deposit. This deposit is later applied to the project down payment when you approve your selected design. Otherwise, it covers the cost of the design process if you decide not to proceed with the project after the design phase and is not refundable.
- Design review & approval: Liesl meets with you to review the proposed design(s) and get approval on the preferred design.
- Estimate & schedule: Based on the approved design, scope of project, and desired timeframe, Liesl provides an estimate and schedule for your consideration.
- Contract & project down payment: The final contract is signed and down payment of 75% is due.
- Painting: Now the real fun can begin! For mural clients, Liesl arranges to paint at your home on a schedule that is convenient for you. Other projects are created in her artist’s studio.
- Delivery: The project is completed and final payment is due.
