Liesl painted a family tree for my three year old daughter. The scene visually captures our family story and includes all the key family members. The painting has been a real hit!  Sophia has shown it to everyone who visits, she is very proud of it. She has even designated the airplane in the painting as her friend Carrie. My parents and in-laws have all had a great sense of humor about the characters that represent them in the piece, as well.  Everyone just thinks it is so cool and clever, and I love that it has

I want to thank you for the custom paintings you created for a baby shower gift for my friend.  She works on Capitol Hill is very much a Democrat.  Her husband is solid Republican who works for the Administration. Their bipartisan baby will love the special donkey and elephant paintings by you that will be displayed in his room. Your custom painting of the world was a gift for our two-year-old whose first reaction was WOW! followed by something that really sounded like I like this - - and she is not really talking in sentences yet, so that is something! Liesl's mini-paintings are perfect baby shower gifts! I always offer them to expecting parents as baby's first art, because it is never too soon to introduce art appreciation into a child's life.  Plus - - kids do not grow out of these!

Liesl combined our 2 year old son Declan’s love of sports with another of his favorite things - - dragons (but not too scary) - - and created four fun, endearing scenes that he can relate to and tell stories about.  The dragon playing badminton reminds him of the times he hit the birdies over our fence while playing with his Musee (a.k.a. grandpa).  We love hearing what these scenes evoke for him.
